Here we are working on our letters for the Adopt-A-Grandparent program. The students were given a name of an elderly person who would like to receive letters. We learned the different parts of a letter and how to write one. We also learned how to address an envelope and mail it. Now we are hoping that we will have a good response from our "grandparents".

You have done so many different projects this year to help the children learn to care about others. What a wonderful learning tool to give the children a real life reason for writing a letter...Not to mention the joy they will bring to some older people. I'm impressed!
