During centers we read for Accelerated Reader, used computers, and played with blocks. We discovered that it took 402 blocks to go across the room and 142 blocks to go up to the ceiling. What fun!

Read Across America!

Mrs. Hubbard, a retired second grade teacher, came to visit our class for Read Across America. On this day we participated in Read for the Record, where students all across read the same book. Mrs. Hubbard read the book Corduroy to the children and gave them a piece of corduroy to remember their story.
