We have green thumbs!

We planted our apple seeds and are keeping a journal of our observations. Hopefully we will have a couple of trees start growing for us.

We made applesauce!

We are even learning how to cook in school. We made homemade applesauce. It was so yummy!

Johnny Appleseed Centers

We had so much fun doing centers. We cooked, painted, played on the computers, and had fun games. Who knew you could do so much educational stuff with apples. Thanks for a great week!

Centers

Last Friday we did centers in the afternoon. We will be doing centers on Fridays because we need a break after testing all afternoon. While they were at centers they worked on computers, did a listening center, wrote stories and worked with their high frequency words. Who said learning can't be fun?
